It all started with a small child, a mud puddle and her momma's pie tins. She spent long days sifting, stirring, and creating masterpieces with dirt and water. She loved making “dirt yummies” to share with her older brother and sister, and her parents. Even as a little girl, she dreamed of owning a bakery someday and creating masterpieces that people would love to eat. 

Once Jammi was old enough to work the oven she spent a lot of her time covered in batter and frosting instead of mud. As she continued to grow, participating in 4-H became a major focus in her life. She loved the opportunity to be part of a group and learn, while competing to be the best in baking competitions. County and State Fairs became a place to hone her baking skills and expand her knowledge of the baking world. 

Jammi’s life took a different path for a while and she earned a bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University in graphic design. She worked with design but her love continued to be baking and owning a bakery. A fork in the road took her back to her first love and she began attending Oklahoma State University and graduated with a culinary degree. She had come home to her dream of sharing her culinary endeavors with the public. 

With the love and support of her family she started out of her house with a "cottage bakery". She began creating her parade of yummy gourmet cupcakes and cakes. Within a short time she had built a group of faithful foodies that asked for more and more of her baked goodies. The community showed her their love and Flour Dust Delights expanded with a gourmet cupcake trailer and then evolved into a cupcake truck and finally a professional kitchen in 2017.  

So with all of that going on Jammi’s a mother of two, wife, daughter, and sister…who has the soul of an old woman! She loves to cook, sew, craft, quilt, and dabble in photography! If she had a superpower it would be to bless the world with delicious baked foods but without the calories.
